About us

Graham Parfitt – Founder and hands-on Creative Director lends his extensive experience and sharp eye for design details across all Designbox projects.

Thirty five years experience producing effective, innovative solutions for companies large and small has proved to Graham that all businesses have one thing in common: The need to promote their products or services in the most optimum way.

Emerging from the London College of Printing, Graham began his career with CPL Ltd. The largest photographic laboratory in Europe at the time, during his nine year tenure, he was involved with producing large graphics for studio sets for Shepperton Studios' blockbuster movies such as Superman and James Bond films. Other big name companies' promotional material Graham was involved with include: British Airways, Texaco and M&S. He won the Best Exhibition Stand Award at the Kent Commerce exhibition before moving on to the Kentish Times Group of Newspapers.

Graham's brief on joining the Kentish Times Group was to set up and run a design studio. Servicing the thirty strong advertising staff with design visuals for clients locally and nationally, working to tight deadlines on a weekly basis. During this time with the KT Group, he redesigned the nine newspaper titles as well as designing and producing numerous promotional campaigns.

Designbox Studio first opened its doors over 25 years ago and has weathered two major recessions not merely intact, but stronger and more determined than ever to succeed.
